The University of Virginia’s College at Wise Office of Economic Development and Engagement is offering video production and editing, Thursday, March 2, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center.
With todays technology small business owners can produce video for websites and social media without a huge production budget. In Video Production and Editing, participants will learn to shoot professional looking video footage with a personal camcorder, edit video footage and upload to websites and social media. Instructor Lanna Monday will demonstrate how to edit, broadcast and stream video, as well as incorporate graphics, text and logos. Participants will learn to import music, mix audio effectively and rip audio from video for radio use. The program will explore storyboarding and scripting for video.
