The Seinfeld Soup Nazi, to Appear at Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center Meet and Greet Reception

The Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center is pleased to announce that actor Larry Thomas, the well-known Seinfeld Soup Nazi will be at a Meet and Greet reception on Friday, February 10 at 6 pm.  “An Evening at The Movies with The Soup Nazi” will take place the evening prior to the February 11th.  Annual Great Winter Soup Cook-Off and will give guests a chance to meet Larry in an intimate setting. The Rachel Fowlkes Executive Auditorium at HEC features a state of the art sound and projection systems, and comfortable seating.

During the reception guests will enjoy several appetizers from Thomas’s cookbook, Confessions of a Soup Nazi. Assorted beverages, (including wine and beer) as well as gourmet popcorn will be available.  Thomas will have a Q & A session and will talk about cooking, acting and the road that led him to his infamous portrayal of the Soup Nazi.  He will also discuss the many films that he has recently made, including Mind Over Mindy, for which he was presented the best supporting actor award at the Chicago film festival.  Guests will enjoy viewing a few of Larry’s short films, clips and one his favorite full length features. Guests attending the Meet and Greet will receive an autographed photograph plus a complimentary ticket to the February 11th Great Winter Soup Cook Off.   Cook books will be available for purchase during the event.
